Well, summer has arrived in full force. The sun is hot, but it makes me happy. So, I dipped my brushes in sunshine and started some new illustrations.
I tried a little collage here. I really like how it turned out; vibrant colors, organic lines and shapes. Although I'm not sure if illustrating over collage is the way to go, I see it everywhere nowadays...aw I still like it.
These next few months are going to be nerve wracking. My employer is making some changes and it is possible that I will lose my job. So, I guess it's time to mark a new path. Maybe it's time to illustrate for real? As a semi-self-taught artist I'm having trouble figuring out how to make a business out of art. So, I guess you can follow me as I try to make it on my own.

I love all the new artwork, glad you have had time to get back to it before summer was over, although I know all of the seasons seem to give you great inspiration!
